KS3 GeographyTropical World
It's important to celebrate the successes our students make. A trip to Tropical World on 26th February 2009 rewarded students for their commitment to learning in Geography. We have recently studied Tropical Rainforests and it was great for students to connect with their topic and be able to experience the environment for themselves. Students were able to follow the trail through the Tropical landscape. The heat and the humidity hits you like a brick wall and the sounds of the birds and raging waterfall make the experience truly exotic. Being able to experience the dense vegetation and have butterflies and birds flying ahead makes this trip even more of an adventure. One of the most memorable points in the trip is when you emerge from the Rainforest and into the Desert to see the meerkats playing, furiously digging or on the look out! Thank you to all the staff and students involved in this trip it was an enjoyable experience!
