GCSE Additional Applied Science

This is another single award GCSE, which could be taken after core Science. It concentrates on the knowledge and skills used by scientists in the workplace so is suitable for students who want to learn more about vocational contexts, relevant to the modern world. Together with GCSE Science, it would form a firm basis for level 3 courses in the sciences such as GCE Applied Science. The subject content is set in three vocational contexts:
