Darton High School is a popular and well-regarded community-focused school serving a series of villages to the west of Barnsley. It is easily accessible from the M1 and lies at the edge of the village of Kexborough, bordering farmland. Darton High School offers many exciting opportunities, not the least a £25 million rebuild to open 2009-2010 on the same site as part of Building Schools for the Future. The school is committed to a number of exciting projects to enhance the quality of provision and raise standards.
