Teacher of Science [Main Scale £20,133 - £29,427]

From September 2008 we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and committed teacher to join our school who is able to teach Science to GCSE across the full age and ability range and work well as part of a team. The department has a committed and experienced specialist team and has seen KS3 and KS4 results improve significantly in the last two years. This is an ideal opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic teacher to join a school that embraces change and innovation.

All specialisms considered, but Physics or Chemistry are an advantage.

Music Curriculum Team Leader (HoD) - Full Time Permanent [TLR2B (currently +£3,940)]

Due to the break from teaching of our current Curriculum Team Leader, we seek a musician to lead an enthusiastic and committed Music Curriculum Team. The successful candidate will be an inspiring and outstanding teacher who is committed to working collaboratively. As we are a Phase 1 BSF school, we are able to offer this post as full-time and permanent. The postholder will be responsible for contributing to the vision for the exciting new curriculum of the new Darton High School in 2010. Applicants who are able to offer extra whole school responsibility will be considered, but this should not preclude other applicants who cannot.

R.E. Curriculum Team Leader (HoD) - Full Time Permanent [TLR1A (currently +£6,830)]

We are seeking a RE specialist to lead an enthusiastic and committed R.E. Curriculum Team, one of the 3 subjects forming part of the Humanities Specialist school status. The successful candidate will be an inspiring and outstanding teacher who is committed to working collaboratively within the department and in whole school initiatives. Premises Manager [Post REF: 154/PM]

37 HOURS PER WEEK
Scale 5: Salary Range £18,907 to £20,736 (pay review pending)

The Premises Manager ensures the effective and economical management of the school campus in relation to security, heating, repairs and improvements, premises and grounds maintenance, porterage, and use of the School Premises. There is some requirement for weekend and public holiday working during the year and appropriate cover must be provided both during term time and holiday periods.

School Support Assistant [POST REF: E154/SSA]

16 HOURS PER WEEK TERM TIME
Scale 1: Salary range £4,180 to £4,986 (actual salary - pay review pending)

You will join a team of six support assistants carrying out a range of basic clerical, housekeeping, other general tasks and basic support for pupil learning. You will work under the direction of the Senior Support Assistants operating within a rota system, assisting in a wide rage of departments within school as required. Duties include break duty supervision of pupils and examination invigilation.
